Comfort Inn, Erie - Near Presque Isle

The five star review is not for the hotel its for the front desk manager Jennifer. When our plans changed within an hour of arriving on. July 18 she has been the one making sure we have what we need. She is the only one that makes our stay ok. We appreciate her and all she has done. She now has a spot in our family

The hotel was very clean and the staff was awesome, professional and friendly. It's a great location as it's up the street from the state park.

The best location in Erie for a stay. Has Mom & Pop feel with friendly accommodating staff, and a hot breakfast. Clean and basic, close to Presque Isle with easy parking.

Of all things we look for in a hotel, cleanliness is number 1. Our room was very clean. The floor was clean, the bathroom was clean. They change linens every third day, which is great with us. The elevators were not working but they checked with us before they put us on the second floor. Not a problem. They provide a hot breakfast of waffles, eggs, biscuits and gravy, and a breakfast meat. We really enjoyed our stay. Will likely stay here again upon return to the area.

We have stayed here several times over the past few years and this was the most disappointing stay with them. When we arrived after a long trip, we were "greeted" by a person who couldn't have cared less about us. He was sitting there listening to his music and very blase about our concerns. We had requested a room on the top floor of the hotel and he "knew nothing about that" and had no rooms available. We were put into a room that seemed to be nice but upon checking it we found the toilet to be filthy. My wife had to clean the toilet with tools and cleaner provided by the hotel. The first night we were there we had to call the front desk late in the evening due to the noise in the room above us which sounded like elephants stomping on the floor. We were in this room for four nights and housekeeping only came by once. The hotel was full through our entire stay. As advertised, a breakfast (although ample) is provided. Our first morning, there were no spoons available. On the second and third day there were no hot cups available. This was all attributed to an order not being delivered. Eventually, on day three, the manager did go out to purchase cups so this problem was solved. The seating was never able to accomodate all of the guests during the busies hours and we had to wait for a table. Advice.......get there before 8:30 or right at the end of the breakfast or just be prepared to wait. I must say that Burt, the attendant for the breakfast and many other duties, is amazing. He is pleasant and takes great pride in his work. He always remembers us and is glad to help. I have to say that I will now reconsider this property for future stays. Very disappointing stay.

What was to be a family trip on 7-18-25 turned into a. Nightmare. We ended up having an emergency and have had a family member in the hospital since an hour after arrival. Jennifer ( the front desk manager) is the only one that has made our stay bare able. She goes above and beyond to make sure we have what we need. She is the absolute best and feels like she is part of our family. We truly appreciate her and everything she does for us.

Clean average sized rooms, nice clean bathroom. Heated outdoor pool open 10am-9pm. Perfect location just a few minute drive to most attractions/restaurants. Attentive and helpful front desk. Continental breakfast with scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, waffle irons, cereal, and muffins. I would stay again.

The room was clean. Bathroom was clean. Sheets and bedding were clean. Breakfast was really good, I had cranberry juice, tea, bacon, eggs and made half a waffle. I would definitely stay here again.
